Get to Know Betty Gattereau, DDS, CAGS

Dr. Betty graduated from Meharry Medical College and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency, earning her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) training at Family Health Center of Worcester in Massachusetts. Her professional dental career began at Whittier Street Health Center, followed by Brockton Neighborhood Health Center. At Brockton Neighborhood Health Center, the Chief of Operations noticed her exceptional leadership, outstanding clinical services, respect among her peers, and demonstration of sound knowledge of the theories and principles of the practice of general dentistry, so they created the position of Assistant Dental Director for her to aid in guiding the dedicated team. During many years of working at the health center, Dr. Betty participated in several workshops to further the clinical practice of advanced cosmetic dentistry. After many conversations with Dr. Saba Abernethy, it was clear they shared similar philosophies regarding cosmetic dentistry, so Dr. Betty decided to join this technologically advanced cosmetic practice and the excellent team at Diamond Hill Dental.

Dr. Betty lives in Milton, Massachusetts with her husband and her wonderful daughter. Being healthy is an integral part of her life, so her weekly routine includes CrossFit. She loves watching football and cheering her Patriots to victories. However, she is most passionate about providing exceptional dental care, and loves every moment of making her patients happy by improving their smiles.
